The Organisation

Based in the inner suburbs of Melbourne, very close to the CBD (with hybrid working options) our client is an iconic not-for-profit organisation providing meaningful support to the most disadvantaged in our community.

The organisation is now looking for a Risk Manager to help drive and support the continuous improvement of the organisation’s risk management processes and systems.

The Position

Working in a small Risk team in this newly created role, you will ideally be an early-career risk professional, keen to progress your professional journey in risk management. The role is permanent, full time.

You will ensure the effective design & implementation of risk assessments & processes, and provide direct support to management/staff to support the embedding of risk management across the organisation.

The Person

To be successful in this role you will be proud of what you've achieved so far in the early stages of your risk management career, and are excited about developing further:

You will have:

• Passion for, and values alignment with, the NFP Community Sector.
• Experience in designing, developing, and implementing enterprise risk management frameworks & policies, and the associated systems & procedures.
• Tertiary qualifications in business, risk management, or related discipline, as well as formal risk management training.
