The ideal candidate is a visionary and inspiring leader who can guide their organisation into its next chapter of growth and impact. As CEO, you will lead a dynamic team committed to fostering the mental and emotional well-being of boys and young men across Australia. Under your empathic and astute leadership, you will help scale their programs, expand their advocacy efforts, and ensure that their mission to redefine masculinity is brought to life in communities nationwide.

You will collaborate with the Board of Directors and executive leadership team to set the strategic direction, ensuring their programs remain impactful, sustainable, and innovative. You will champion The Man Cave’s vision in public forums, media, and with key stakeholders to enhance their mission to create lasting systemic change.

About The Role

To succeed as the CEO of The Man Cave you have:

• Ideally 5+ years organisational leadership experience including team management, ideally within the non-profit, youth, or mental health sectors
• A successful track record leading growth and scaling impact ensuring the long-term sustainability of an organisation
• Strong financial and business acumen, along with the capacity to develop diverse revenue streams
• Exceptional communication and public speaking skills, and are able to connect genuinely with young men as well as commercial partners, supporters and stakeholders
• A successful track record building and maintaining high-level relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, ensuring ongoing support and partnerships
• A leadership style that can create a collaborative, humble, passionate, high performing and inclusive culture
• Experience working closely with a Board of Directors, providing governance support, and ensuring transparent decision-making
• High emotional intelligence, resilience, and adaptability

The Offer

This is a permanent full-time position located in Brunswick, Victoria with the expectation of 5 days in the office each week, unless there are external commitments. A competitive salary is on offer.
