VACRO is a non-government, non-denominational organisation working with people in contact with the justice system and their families. Founded in 1872 (as the Discharged Prisoners’ Aid Society of Victoria), VACRO works closely with government and non-profit organisations.
Join our Development Team to play a key role in leading VACRO’s policy priorities in the corrections and criminal justice sectors. Bring your passion for creating second chances for people in contact with the justice system and their families as well as for addressing factors that lead to reoffending and intergenerational offending.
Your strong research and policy background will enable you to successfully implement VACRO’s policy priorities by taking advantage of strategic opportunities to influence developments in the corrections and justice sectors. Use your outstanding research and writing skills to develop rigorous and creative content that influences government, policy makers and the public.
