About VACRO

VACRO is a non-government, non-denominational organisation working with people in contact with the justice system and their families. Founded in 1872 (as the Discharged Prisoners’ Aid Society of Victoria), VACRO works closely with government and non-profit organisations.

The Opportunity

This newly created and varied position is designed to support our business through the day-to-day coordination of corporate services functions with a focus on a number of exciting strategic projects, including IT and digital administration projects. Working collaboratively with the Corporate Services Manager and IT Consultant, your ability to apply your digital experience and strategic thinking will be integral to your success.

Your capacity to partner and communicate effectively with the business to ensure timely outcomes will be valued. This role requires a “can do” attitude, initiative and problem solving skills with the ability to work both autonomously and on project teams across the organisation. Some CEO administrative support is also required.

Key Selection Criteria

  • An excellent knowledge of and experience using Microsoft 365 apps and SharePoint, or demonstrated knowledge and experience with quickly becoming familiar and undertaking administrative tasks with other IT platforms.
  • High level of initiative and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Ability to maintain a secure work environment with a high level of confidentiality and adherence to privacy guidelines.
