About the role

Jigsaw Blue is on the lookout for experienced, energetic, and committed Youth Workers and Disability Support Workers who have their participants goals at the forefront of all they do.

Applicants must have the ability to engage and guide our participants to better help manage trauma-based behaviour and complex needs.

Requirements

Must currently attain a Certificate IV in Disability, OR for Youth work a Certificate in Child Youth and Family Intervention or a minimum of the 4 Trauma Informed Care top up units.

Please note this may be a hybrid role between DSW and YSW from time to time to support your working schedule.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide therapeutic care on a day-to-day basis.
  • Mentoring.
  • Aid with daily living skills.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individual plans.
  • Thorough and comprehensive documentation through progress notes and report writing.
  • Support the involvement of family if applicable.
