Our client is a non-government charity partner assisting various Government departments in the acquisition & project management of significant land holdings throughout Australia. The organisations wide ranging remit is to help preserve Australia’s untouched wilderness and to protect endangered wildlife for future generations to enjoy through ongoing awareness campaigns, fund raising activities, corporate partnerships and other Government backed initiatives.

The organisation is currently looking to hire a highly personable Donor Engagement Coordinator who can assist the marketing & fund-raising team in achieving the Foundation’s mission. The role includes contributing to the organisations ongoing success through management of their regular giving and community fund raising activities as well as their bequest and supporter survey programs. The role will also assist in the management of Corporate volunteering programs and Donor Stewardship events ensuring maximise dollar retention and income growth is achieved.

Your duties will include:

• Fundraising – Coordination of regular giving programs and liaison with bequest prospects as well as oversight of mid-level donor ‘thank you’ follow ups
• Supporter Engagement – Ongoing donor liaison to ensure loyalty & retention as well as Supporter Connection survey follow up
• Corporate Volunteering – Coordinate corporate volunteering events and other donor engagement activities
• Social Media – Ensuring consistent, curated social media activity through creation and posting on various platforms in collaboration with other team members as well as external stakeholders

Your background will include:

• Experience in coordinating and delivering successful fundraising programs
• Exceptional communication skills in speaking with supporters & donors to ensure ongoing engagement
• Demonstrated traits of passion, commitment and stewardship in previous roles
• Demonstrated experience using contemporary CRM systems
• Ability to think strategically and act systematically
