Jewish Care Victoria belongs to the community – each of us owners and stakeholders. We each play a role in ensuring the care of those in need. The strength of our community is in our diversity and in our togetherness – young and old, rich and poor, healthy and sick, religious and unaffiliated.
Jewish Care’s mission speaks to all of us, through the delivery of the highest quality of care including real choices and real options, to transform Jewish Care from a provider of necessity to a provider of choice.
The Active Living Services team at Jewish Care Victoria require the expertise of a Physiotherapist to support independence of our aged care service users including clients with Home Care Packages and CHSP funding. As part of the Allied Health Service you will provide support to individuals in their homes and groups in our centres, using an evidence based approach. The program aims to provide assistance and support, referral to relevant community based resources and effectively link people to ongoing services to overcome a wide range of health concerns.
You will join our growing service based in our new $90million Residential and Health & Wellbeing facilities in Windsor, Caulfield and Carnegie. Supporting the development of new services alongside the Allied Health, you will provide services across different community sites and in people's homes, with a focus on independence and living actively.
We aim to provide the highest standard of professional and personal support offering flexibility and conditions not readily available elsewhere.
Jewish Care employs staff from all cultural and religious backgrounds and provides cultural and spiritual training in the Jewish Ethos. Our recruitment procedures reflect our commitment to the safety and protection of our clients, relevant screening and police checks will be conducted.
Jewish Care proudly celebrates and warmly welcomes the rich diversity of our community and strives to be inclusive for all, including the LGBTI+ community.
Please note that it is a requirement to have a current annual flu vaccination and that you will be required to provide a certificate as evidence.
We look forward to receiving your application.
