Clinic reception positions in women’s health!

Jean Hailes for Women's Health is recruiting for clinic reception staff for our medical clinic in East Melbourne. We currently have 1 Permanent Full Time and 1 Permanent Part-Time positions available.

Jean Hailes for Women's Health is a national, not-for-profit organisation dedicated to improving women's health throughout the various stages of their lives. We combine research, clinical care, policy work and practical education for women and health professionals.

About the role

This is an exceptional opportunity to be the first impression for our patients as part of our team of reception staff and clinicians and learn about women’s health. This busy and varied role will enable you to capitalise on existing skills, and add to your arsenal of knowledge.

Required:

• Medical Clinic Receptionist experience required.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Excellent multi-tasking skills.
• Ability to work within a team and autonomously.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Proficiency in Medical Director and Pracsoft.
• Proof of COVID-19 vaccination.
• A valid working visa/Australian citizenship.

Desired:

• Medical reception experience.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, procedures and billing.
• An understanding of privacy and confidentiality in a healthcare setting.
• Ability to handle a high-pressure environment.
