JewishCare, a not-for-profit organisation, is seeking a Chief People Officer to work alongside a best-in-class leadership team to positively impact the lives of vulnerable community members. With teams specialising in Aged Care, Mental Health & Wellbeing, NDIS services, and Family and Child Support Services, JewishCare ensures the people we serve can live their life to the fullest.

Reporting to the CEO, the Chief People Officer will be responsible for leading the People and Culture division including our Learning and Development, Diversity, Inclusion, and Talent Acquisition.

In this role you will:

  • Develop a People & Culture strategy for JewishCare including diversity, talent attraction and retention, employee engagement, learning and development, workforce planning, career development and cultural change;
  • Lead and implement an effective Performance Management Framework that includes a structured process for review, clear KPIs and pathways for development including succession planning and Talent ID;
  • Ensure the organisations compliance with relevant legislation, awards and regulatory bodies;
  • Apply a data-driven lens to every element of the employee lifecycle and initiate and evolve processes and programs to ensure a best-practice employee experience while minimising unnecessary overheads;
  • Lead and develop the People & Culture team to ensure best practice within the industry.
