About the position:

The Career Consultant provides support for Omnia Inclusive Employment Solutions candidates/participants in preparation for employment and/or life skills. They play a critical role in ensuring Omnia Inclusive Employment Solutions candidates/participants are supported and fully understand the employment preparation and placement requirements.

Career Consultants are responsible for effective case management, document and information/knowledge management and the appropriate application of Omnia Inclusive Employment Solutions process and policy within regulatory requirements.  

Your specific responsibilities will include:

  1. Provide optimal customer experience through welcome and onboarding with local site colleagues.
  2. Provide end to end support across pre and post work placement supports to individual Omnia Inclusive Employment Solutions  candidates and/or across Employment Preparation/Life skills programs.  Develop and implement the role preparation, promotion, placement and progress of the candidate.
  3. Proactively monitor work to ensure all service delivery complies with contractual guidelines.
  4. Collaborate with external business partners (e.g. employers and allied health professionals) to allow candidate/participant progression against individual plan
  5. Structured and efficient handover of candidate profile to the Business Relationship Consultant and Workplace Consultant to continue high level customer experience journey for the individual and external stakeholders.

About you:

  • 2+ years of experience in a client-facing service role
  • Self-starter who enjoys collaborating and being part of a team
  • Demonstrated awareness of the value of workplace diversity and inclusion
  • Ability to communicate with empathy and patience, showing respect and dignity for all
  • Comfortable following established procedures, guidelines and regulatory requirements
  • Strong written/verbal communication skills and computer literacy.

Conditions of Employment:

  • This position is required to undertake all necessary National Police Check and any State/Territory Working with Children Check/NDIS Worker Screening check. All checks must be renewed upon expiry in a timely manner.
  • All employees are required to prove their ‘right to work’ in Australia by providing copies of appropriate documentation prior to commencement.
  • Relevant industry experience & suitable qualifications
  • COVID Vaccination Certificate

Employee Benefits:
