International Women’s Development Agency (IWDA) is the leading Australian agency entirely focussed on women’s rights and gender equality in the Asia Pacific region.

The Role

The Program Coordinator will support program management, monitoring, evaluation and learning, data collection, knowledge management and administration within the IWDA Papua New Guinea team. This role is based in Melbourne.

The Candidate

You will have:

  • Experience (voluntary or paid) working within the international development or community development sector in a relevant program or partnership support role
  • Knowledge of or experience (voluntary or paid) working with/in Papua New Guinea or the Pacific is desirable
  • Demonstrated record of success establishing and coordinating complex administration and tracking systems, preferably in support of project and financial management
  • Well-developed financial acumen and budgeting skills
  • Strong written communication skills, including the ability to adapt writing and presentation style for a range of audiences and purposes including correspondence, proposals or submissions, report writing and minute taking
  • High level of computer proficiency, in particular Excel
  • Commitment to feminism in practice

Offered as a part-time (0.6 FTE) fixed term contract (until December 2020). The annual salary is a SCHADS 4/ SACS CII.
