About the role

Join the dynamic C19 Vaccinations Hubs (Rapid Response Collaborative) and perform and support vaccinations for Covid-19. Provide high quality client care whilst maintaining Infection and Prevention Control with client safety at highest attention.

This role reports through to the Senior Clinical Nurse and also requires team work together with other Nurse Immunisers, vaccine clinical staff and administrative support staff.

Undertake eligibility screening, assessment, vaccination and post-vaccination monitoring of clients. Perform Covid-19 vaccination under current ATAGI, State and Federal vaccination guidelines and C-19 vaccine network operational guidelines. Ensure infection prevention control measures and appropriate and are maintained. Also provide support and advice to clients regarding post vaccination advice and undertake reporting duties and responsibilities as required.

The C-19 Vaccinations Hub program requires a high standard of attention to clinical detail, nursing care, communication, team collaboration and the ability to work in a busy environment.

About you

You will have current AHPRA Registered Nurse Division 1, be a qualified Nurse Immuniser with preferably a minimum of six months experience. You also will have previous experience in a GP clinic or acute setting. A current CPR Management of anaphylaxis/AEFI Training is also required. Attention to detail and a clinical health and safety focus is essential. In addition, experience with diverse communities providing social support will be highly regarded. As well, a high level of communication and interpersonal skills are required. And a current and valid Victorian Driver's Licence, Police and WWCC are essential.
