For over 60 years, the Heart Foundation has been the trusted peak body working to improve heart disease prevention, detection, and support for all Australians and since 1959 we have funded research projects worth over $670+ million.

About the opportunity

This exciting new role provide opportunity to positively impact strategy to support the effectiveness of the way the Foundation engages with its supporters, partners and donors.

You will engage with a wide range of stakeholders within marketing, health research, innovation and fundraising to deliver holistic organisation-wide insights and work to build insights capabilities in others across the organisation. With an open minded, holistic, inquisitive, consultative and strategic approach to collecting data, analysing trends and developing and communicating insights, you will work to improve marketing and brand campaign outcomes and future fundraising performance. This will involve:

  • Gathering marketing intelligence on activities, media and digital communications internally and externally, to establish key insights that will drive activities involving brand, health messaging, donor appeals and fundraising
  • Analysing and interpreting campaign and brand performance to leverage opportunities and mitigate risks
  • Building capabilities in donor segmentation to move towards behaviourally driven supporter relations initiatives
  • Identifying and tracking key drivers for optimising donor and supporter engagement

Key requirements

  • Tertiary degree or demonstrated equivalent experience in a relevant business discipline such as commerce, marketing, market research, communications, statistics or similar
  • Experience with quantitative and qualitative research methods and data interpretation and analysis
  • Experience using CRM programs and an understanding of customer journey mapping
  • Survey development and reporting skills preferably using Qualtrics platform or similar
  • Skills in analytics/dashboard using programs such as SPSS, Q, Tableau, PowerBI
  • High level written and verbal communication including presentation and report writing skills
