Our client is the largest brain research group in the Southern Hemisphere researching a range of serious diseases including stroke, epilepsy, Alzheimer's, Parkinson's and motor neurone diseases, depression and addiction. As the Payroll Officer, you will form a critical part of this small payroll team where you will be supported by a Payroll Manager and Payroll Officer providing an effective payroll function across the Institute for fortnightly and monthly payroll. By doing so, provide the best customer service to staff.
As the selected Payroll Officer, you will have notable payroll experience and will exhibit advanced payroll software skills (Greentree payroll experience highly desirable). You're accustom to working in a fast paced environment and have excellent attention to detail with precision. You will display capabilities with relevant knowledge of payroll related legislation, rules, policies, regulations, agreements (including EBA), awards and other compliance. Your excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to engage with a wide range of staff and executive management will be highly regarded. Finally, proven knowledge of tax compliance and in particular salary packaging related to the Not-for-Profit sector will position you for success.
