We are currently seeking dedicated and experienced Trainee Educators to join our NSW School Services team in the following regions;

  • North Wollongong
  • South Wollongong
  • Southern Illawarra
  • Southern Highlands
  • Camden
  • Goulburn
  • North West Sydney
  • Western Sydney

The School Services programs run in many primary schools throughout NSW and Victoria during school terms only and provide sexuality and relationship education programs based on a sound educational principle to assist children and families address specific questions children have around gender, sexuality, and communication.

The position is responsible to conduct sexuality and relationship education programs for NSW primary school students, parents and community members as required and to promote Interrelate materials & services.

There will be day & evening work involved during the school term and the need for administrative tasks to be completed from home. You must be able to attend compulsory training and attend the end of term meetings. Furthermore, you must have access to a motor vehicle, mobile phone, and current drivers licence.

This role also requires a current Working with Children Check.

Hourly Rate: $37.54 (including loading) + 9.5% Super.

To be successful in this role you will need to meet the following 5 Key Requirements:

  1. Tertiary qualifications in Education/ Social Sciences or other related disciplines
  2. Experience in classroom management and working with children
  3. Experience in program development, implementation, and review
  4. Experience in group work and facilitation
  5. Knowledge of and the ability to communicate on sensitive issues for children in the areas of relationship education, personal and health development
