Pacific Context: 

IFC covers eleven member countries in the Pacific region: Fiji, Kiribati, Marshall Islands, Micronesia, Palau, Papua New Guinea, Samoa, Solomon Islands, Tonga, Toveruvalu and Vanuatu.  IFC is seeking to expand its investment and advisory operations in the Pacific. In addition to the Sydney Hub, IFC has offices in Papua New Guinea, Solomon Islands, Fiji and Vanuatu

Selection Criteria/Skills and Qualifications:

IFC is looking for an experienced consultant who meets the following minimum criteria:

• Master’s degree in relevant discipline and work experience in the field of international finance, corporate finance, investment banking, etc. consistent with requirements of this TOR (if a firm, then firm staff with relevant experience);  
• Comprehensive knowledge of the Australian and New Zealand private sectors, including individual firms, industry bodies, and other groups relevant to the assignment as well as overall industry trends across the economies of Australia and New Zealand;
• Understanding of and preferably experience working with investors, including those in emerging markets;
• Excellent research, analytical, writing and communications skills in English; and,
• Highly motivated, able to work independently and committed to the highest ethical standards.

Contract Terms:

The Consultant will be contracted for up to 30 days with final deliverables due by June 15, 2020 or other date agreed by the Consultant and IFC.
