Intelife Disability Support Workers provide person-centred support, mentoring and training for individuals with disabilities who are working towards their goals through day-to-day activities within their local community.

We have part time opportunities (30 to 40 hours per fortnight) available across our Perth metropolitan sites located at Balcatta, Midland and Gosnells.

As an Intelife Support Worker you will:

• Work with male customers with a range of abilities.
• Support and mentor customers to increase their personal independence.
• Support customers to engage in community based activities.
• Teach and encourage customers to harness new skills and healthy activities.
• Model and encourage appropriate social behaviours, as necessary.

Your success will be ensured by:

• Completion of Certificate III or IV in Individual Support or suitable relevant experience.
• Demonstrating a strong commitment to Intelife's Vision, Mission and Values.
• Problem solving when faced with challenging or unanticipated situations.
• Being a great team player while following the duties and tasks of a designated support plan.
• Working with individuals from a range of social, financial and cultural backgrounds.
• Possessing a roadworthy vehicle to transport clients (km's will be reimbursed)
