About the role

The role of the Wellness Centre Coordinator is to coordinate the day-to-day operations of our Launceston Wellness Centre and work in collaboration with our wellness centre leadership team to focus on new business generation. As a highly visible representative of the organisation, our Wellness Centre Coordinator enhances integratedliving Australia's reputation as a provider of choice through their commitment to service excellence and customer satisfaction.

The Wellness Centre Coordinator will be responsible for; overseeing the coordination and delivery of individual and comprehensive group exercise programs/ classes for the over 55's or complex needs clients, running 2 to 3 stretch and flow classes per week, and assisting our Exercise Physiologists to run some of our group exercise classes. 

Skills and experience 

This role would suit someone who has personal training experience, excellent customer service skills, strong administration skills, with a general interest in health, fitness, and well-being:

  • Personal training qualifications (Fitness Australia Accreditation) and experience leading exercise classes (ideally for over 55’s)
  • A commitment to providing exceptional customer service to our customers
  • Highly effective communication and interpersonal skills; able to effectively engage with multiple stakeholders and adapt style to suit audience
  • A valid first aid and CPR certificate
  • A Driver’s licence and ability to travel
  • The ability to work independently and effectively manage time 

Experience as a Gym manager or Retail store manager would be highly regarded.
