Inspiro is a not-for-profit community health service, a friendly and client-centered organisation that is committed to improving the health & well-being of people within the Yarra Ranges.

Together with our consortium partners, Anchor Inc., Cire Services, Eastern Community Legal Centre and Oonah Belonging Place, Inspiro will lead the development of a hub in Lilydale that will provide integrated health and support services for young people in the Yarra Ranges.

The Lilydale Integrated Youth Health Hub (IYHH) aims to integrate, coordinate & link young people to much-needed health & social services provided by multiple service providers. This project will drive the establishment of the Hub and bring together the various service providers to meet the needs of our local young people.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Looking for an experienced Executive Officer (EO) on a full time basis for a minimum of two years. You will have strong leadership skills and will be capable of managing tight timelines to achieve the overall objectives of the IYHH from conception to completion.

Acting as the key point of contact, you will lead the project by managing resources and engaging partners to ensure the success of the project. Most importantly, you are responsible for making sure the voice of young people guides how the services will be delivered.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Reporting to Inspiro's Chief Executive Officer you will be responsible for:

  • Work closely with a Youth Reference Group to ensure they have input across all levels of the Hub's governance
  • Implement an effective business model that supports a viable integrated service delivery program
  • Support the Governance Committee to foster the vision, goals & values of the service model
  • Develop and implement regulatory frameworks to oversee quality, risk, compliance and clinical safety
  • Develop an evaluation framework that measures the collective impact of the program
  • Prepare, manage and review the provision of communications including briefings, reports, submissions and notes to ensure comprehensive, accurate, and timely communications

KEY SELECTION CRITERIA

Qualifications, knowledge & experience:

  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field with a minimum of 5 years executive experience in health, community services or government position
  • Postgraduate or further education in Business Management or similar is desirable
  • Proven ability in service development & implementation, project & financial management
  • Significant experience in providing executive reports, papers and advice to senior leaders and executive teams
  • Proven leadership skills with an ability to manage and motivate a wide range of stakeholders including young people & senior executives from a range of agencies and settings
  • Exceptional written, verbal and digital communication skills
  • Current Working with Children’s Check valid for employment purposes
  • Employment is subject to a satisfactory police check.
