Infinity Community Solutions Ltd (ICS) is an expanding boutique secular social purpose organisation, motivated to make a difference in the lives of individuals. ICS Child Protection Residential Intervention Services apply needs based thinking to attachment focused care within a trauma informed therapeutic milieu. ICS services work with children and young people and their extended family where appropriate to address the therapeutic needs and support a transition back to family based care settings. The multi disciplinary team includes Care Practitioners, Residential Co-ordinators and the General Manager.
The Intern Provisional Psychologist is responsible for providing clinical services to residential & outreach children and young people in Statutory Out of Home Care – mentoring and training for care practitioners on child specific needs, clinical assessment and therapeutic intervention, individual and group work. This includes development and review of clinical plans (therapeutic support plans, positive behaviour support plans), clinical assessments, case management tasks, critical incident management, mentoring for direct care staff, stakeholder engagement and after-hours on-call support. The position is required to work directly with children and young people with complex behavioural issues in the residential care setting.
