We are recruiting for a Development Coordinator to manage our community development program in collaboration with a network of grassroots community partners across eight countries.
This is a fantastic opportunity to play a leading role as part of our passionate and dedicated team, reporting to the Executive Director and supporting a diverse network of volunteer Partnership Coordinators and overseas community partners. If you have a deep commitment to community-led development and gender equity, experience working collaboratively with marginalised communities and strong organisational and interpersonal skills, this may be the role for you.
As Development Coordinator, you will promote and work within indigo foundation’s Strategy and guiding principles – community ownership, sustainability, transparency and equity – to lead and coordinate our development program through a network of grassroots community partners and Australia-based Partnership Coordinators.
You will support our team of Partnership Coordinators to ensure that our development program is grounded in strong and respectful relationships with community partners and operates within indigo foundation’s guiding principles, strategy and policies.

This is an Australia-based part-time role (20 hours per week) with some international travel. You will be employed under SCHADS Award conditions at a Level 4 or 5, depending on skills and experience. We are committed to a flexible working environment and the spread of hours across the week can be negotiated with the Executive Director.
indigo foundation is a virtual organisation with staff and volunteers throughout Australia, with hubs in Melbourne, Sydney and Canberra. You will work from home and the role can be based anywhere in Australia, with a preference for the candidate being based in NSW, ACT or Victoria.
