Due to a recent increase in client referrals, InComPro currently have multiple casual opportunities available for Disability Support Workers, to join our team of casual staff in the Adelaide northern suburbs, working 20+ hours per week.

These specialised roles are responsible for supporting individuals, with complex needs and ensuring services are culturally appropriate to individual values. The successful applicants must be willing to provide personal care support to clients with challenging behaviours. We are seeking passionate and empathetic people, to support our Aboriginal clients in achieving positive outcomes, to enhance their quality of living.

We’re looking for people with the following skills and abilities:

• Have experience working with Aboriginal people in a care setting
• Have the ability to work over 7 day roster, including evenings, active nights and sleepover shifts
• Flexibility to work across our various accommodation sites, as required
• Are experienced in working with clients with complex needs and challenging behaviours
• Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Have basic computer skills

Essential Requirements:

• A current, unrestricted driver licence (P2 or above)
• Certificate III in Community Services - Disability (Individual Support) or equivalent
• Manual Handling Certificate (or willing to obtain)
• Senior First Aid Certificate
• Current DCSI Clearance (Disability)
• Current Police Clearance
