About the Role

Inclusion Australia is a national Disability Representative Organisation representing the rights and interests of Australians with intellectual disability and their families.

The Communications Officer is a part-time (10-15 hrs per week) contract term role (June 2022).

We are seeking an experienced Communications Officer to contribute to and create content for a range of communications within Inclusion Australia's strategic communications plan, experience working to a strategic communications plan is essential. Responsibilities include, updating of social media, the development of content for our website and newsletters for internal and external communications. Editing and writing is an essential part of the role. Proven communication skills, member/stakeholder engagement, and strong attention to detail are a must. Ultimately, the Communications Officer will help ensure clear and timely delivery of Inclusion Australia's messages across all communications channels.

Award placement: Social Community Home Care and Disability Services (SCHADS) Award Level 4 (Salary Packaging available)

Position location: Remote working from home (excellent internet connection required)
