Our team provides a range youth services, including housing and homelessness, youth justice responses, training and general supports to assist young people to address challenges in their lives and make positive change through a mix of practical and therapeutic interventions and the creation of opportunities for positive social participation.

About the opportunity:

We are seeking a dynamic, professional, experienced Case Manager to provide a high standard of client led case management and group-based interventions with vulnerable, at risk young people aged 8–25.

The Case Manager will work with young people to identify their needs and develop a plan to deliver targeted and goal-driven supports that focus on the individual young person’s needs and aspirations.

The successful applicant will support the organisation’s strategic objectives to increase the range of programs and services offered to young people, and increase young people’s participation in the development of such initiatives.

Please note, IYS is claiming an exemption under the Queensland Anti-discrimination Act 1991 to require that this position be filled by a female worker. This is based on the provisions afforded by Section 25 (Genuine occupation requirement) and Section 28 (Work with children).

Please note, due to the environments that we are contracted to work in, applicants must be fully vaccinated to fulfil the requirements of the role.
