ROLE DESCRIPTION

The purpose of this role is to provide operational management and strategic oversight of our upcoming programs, education streams of work and events, whilst nurturing and growing our global community across our various channels.

The role provides a unique opportunity for you to work across multiple programs and engage with diverse stakeholders across the social enterprise and purpose-led business sector while contributing to organisational growth and sustainability.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead and manage the operations and performance of our programs and education streams, developing strategic and operational goals, measures and performance targets.
• Manage the delivery of upcoming Elevate+ programs, as well as the development of additional online education
• Day to day involvement in the Elevate+ program working with social enterprises to understand their needs and provide support
• Oversee the design, delivery, marketing, monitoring and evaluation of education programs
• Identify, target and develop business opportunities and relationships that support and grow Impact Boom's educational programs nationally.
• Conduct budget management for both fee for service and funded programs and offerings.
• Contribute to organisational strategy development
• Support the maintenance of integrated project planning systems, as well as organisational data management and reporting to provide timely and insightful business intelligence
• Develop and maintain strong working relationships with delivery partners, clients, and key external stakeholders to support program implementation and ensure high-quality client engagement and service delivery.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Demonstrated experience in a relevant context (eg. program or project management/service delivery/client experience)
• Understanding of, and some experience in at least one of the social enterprise, social services, startup or impact investing sectors
• Demonstrated ability to network and establish meaningful and effective relationships with diverse internal and external stakeholders
• Proven leadership, management and interpersonal skills
• Ability to self-manage, be highly organised, manage multiple projects, and work independently, as well as part of a team
• Have strong business acumen and an outcomes-focussed approach
• High level verbal and written communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to represent and advocate on behalf of Impact Boom
• Event management skills are a plus
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple marketing channels, nurturing and growing our online community

REMUNERATION

Appropriate remuneration in line with experience to be negotiated.

We support flexible work arrangements and applicants who would like to work 2-3 days per week or shorter hours over 5 days are encouraged to apply. The role is based in Brisbane and requires weekly in-person attendance to workshops/events. We have an office on Queen St (although working remotely may suit), and run programs and events in various locations (primarily in SE Qld for this role). This would suit someone working on their own enterprise or returning to the work force after starting a family, who would prefer a part-time role at this stage but be interested in growing with us. If you've participated in an accelerator/incubator program that'd be an advantage.
