The Opportunity

headspace Hawthorn is seeking a suitably qualified Senior Clinician to provide clinical leadership and clinical supervision to our multidisciplinary team working with young people aged 12-25 years. In addition to clinical supervision, the Senior Clinician will also work with a small caseload of young people aged 12-25 years.

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and supervision to the clinical team
  • Provide evidence based psychosocial interventions to young people and their carers via phone, telehealth and face to face options
  • Support headspace Hawthorn clinicians to engage in best practice care for young people and families

Skills & Experience

  • Tertiary qualifications in psychology, social work, family therapy, alcohol and other drugs, nursing or related field
  • Demonstrated experience in working with families and young people in mental health/AOD settings for a minimum of 5 years
  • Demonstrated high level of skill in clinical risk assessment and management, including assessing for risk of suicide, self-harm and other risk domains
  • Demonstrated experience and/or training in the provision of clinical supervision
