We are seeking highly motivated and experienced clinicians to join our rapidly growing Child & Family Services Team which is funded under a variety of different streams including Community Health, Medicare, Private Health, and NDIS.

The successful applicant/s will be supported by a team of dynamic and passionate allied health professionals who provide services to pre-school and school-aged children and their families from the local community.

We seek Speech Pathologists with experience working in multi- and transdisciplinary teams, and who have a sound understanding of the service system, especially with respect to the impact of the NDIS. The applicant will be required to work across our service sites and to collaborate with other relevant program areas in support of holistic care for children and their families. We anticipate that, post the fixed-term position, future permanent roles are likely to be available as our NDIS demand continues to grow.

Qualifications, registrations and experience

  • Tertiary qualification in speech pathology
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a paediatric speech pathology setting
  • Demonstrate knowledge of typical and atypical childhood development in order to understand the child’s developmental delay or disability
  • Demonstrate skills in speech pathology assessment and intervention, based on current evidence-based practice to ensure positive outcomes for the child and family

NDIS Worker Screening Check

An NDIS Worker Screening Check clearance will be required for the role prior to commencement. Applications for the NDIS check can be made from 1 February 2021 online through Service Victoria. For more information, please refer to the Victorian NDIS Check website.
