The Opportunity

headspace Hawthorn is delivered by Access Health and Community (Lead Agency). headspace Hawthorn is seeking expressions of interest from Allied Health Practioners (Clinical Psychologists, Psychologists, Mental Health Social Workers and Occupational Therapists) to provide high quality evidence based interventions to young people aged 12-25 years.

You will be working alongside a multi-disciplinary team, have administrative support, consulting space and desk/phone/computer in with the team. All referrals in are first assessed by our intake team, ready to go with a current Mental Health Treatment Plan. There will be a low management fee payable by you, for each attended client.

Selection Criteria

  • Tertiary qualifications in psychology, social work
  • Current registration with the appropriate professional body
  • Eligibility to provide Medicare Benefits Schedule Services
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in assessment, diagnosis and counselling support within Youth, Community or Mental Health Services
  • Excellent skills in youth engagement working with both young people and their families
  • Working with Children’s check

NDIS WORKER SCREENING CHECK
