The Opportunity

headspace Hawthorn is delivered by Access Health and Community (Lead Agency). headspace Hawthorn is seeking expressions of interest from Allied Health Practitioners (Clinical Psychologists, Psychologists, Mental Health Social Workers and Occupational Therapists) to provide high quality, evidence based interventions to young people aged 12-25 years.

This is great opportunity to work alongside a multi-disciplinary team. You will have administrative support and consulting space with desk/phone/computer. You will receive 100% of MBS billings.

Key Selection Criteria

  • Tertiary qualifications in psychology, social work, occupational therapy
  • Current registration with the appropriate professional body
  • Eligibility to provide Medicare Benefits Schedule Services (MBS)
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in assessment, diagnosis and counselling support within Youth, Community or Mental Health Services
  • Excellent skills in youth engagement working with both young people and their families
  • Working with Children’s check
  • NDIS Screening Check
