Position Description

The CEO position leads a team of Indigenous and non-Indigenous personnel working in television programming, acquisitions, production, administration, sales and other events.

You will operate with a high level of cultural competency.

You will report directly to the ICTV Board of Directors and play a critical role in the overall management, operations and flourishing of the organisation.

You are responsible for ensuring the organisation delivers the ICTV mission of providing a television service that works to improve the lives of Indigenous Australians, and meets its key strategic objectives: Provide accessible platforms to showcase our unique identities, grow the audience and content makers, build long term financial sustainability.

It is expected that you will be an experienced media professional with a range of skills related to the Indigenous space, television, production, operational management and marketing. The position will entail working with and reporting to ICTV’s Board of Directors.

ICTV has a strong reputation for delivering its remit with integrity and sensitivity to cultural needs. It is expected that you will ensure the maintenance of this reputation while leading the organisation into further growth and independence.

This position reports to the Board of Directors within a KPI framework.

Based in Alice Springs, relocation costs are included.
