Located in Melbourne CBD, IBAC is Victoria's independent anti-corruption agency responsible for preventing and exposing public sector corruption and police misconduct. We do this by: investigating serious corruption and police misconduct; and informing the public sector, police and the community about the risks and impacts of corruption and police misconduct, and ways in which it can be prevented. Our jurisdiction covers state and local government, police, parliament and the judiciary.

Your new role

IBAC has an exciting opportunity for a highly experienced individual to join our Communication Team as the Team Leader Communication on a full-time, ongoing basis. Reporting to the Manager Communication, the role is designed to support the delivery of IBAC's communication function by supporting the management of the communication team, development and delivery of communication and engagement strategy and delivery of unit outputs.

Tasks and Responsibilities (not limited to)

  • Management of people and other resources (internal and external)
  • Development and implementation of strategic communications
  • Project management plans for the delivery of communications projects and activities
  • Oversee the delivery of a range of communication resources
  • Provide the Manager Communication and IBAC Executive team with specialised communication and stakeholder engagement communications advice on key projects
  • Develop, implement and monitor systems, policies and procedures
