This is an exciting career opportunity for an individual to join IBAC Communications Team as a Senior Communications Officer on a fixed-term contract until 31 October 2023.
Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, the Senior Communication Officer will be an all-rounder, working across the business to develop prevention and education products for stakeholders and the community.
Reporting to the Team Leader - Communication, this role will be responsible for leading the design, implementation and evaluation of effective communications to support work such as high-profile investigation reports, engagement activities, public hearings and a broad range of other activities.
The preferred candidate will have extensive experience and well-developed skills in communication and/or public affairs. They will be able to communicate well via written, verbal and digital means, and work effectively with clients and stakeholders at all levels, both inside and outside the organisation. Editing, production oversight and excellent project and supplier management skills are essential.
