Team Leader Partnerships, Engagement & Pathways

An exciting role exists to join the Youth Engagement & Pathway Unit at Hume. We are looking for a Team Leader who is experienced in leading a dynamic team to develop targeted pathways programs for young people aged 18 to 24 years in partnership with education providers, local businesses and youth service providers.

In addition, the role is responsible for delivering events and programs that celebrate and recognise the achievements of young people in Hume; and for enhancing strategic partnerships.

The role is permanent, full-time and reports to the Coordinator Youth Engagement and Pathways. We are looking for someone who is value-driven, motivated and has a good understanding of the education, employment and training, and service sectors.

Key Skills

  • Highly knowledgeable about the needs of young people and families, schools, higher education, employment and youth sectors, and experience in advocating on behalf of these needs and developing collaborative stakeholder relationships.
  • Extensive experience in developing, implementing and evaluating services and programs for young people (18-24) that provide pathways to engagement, education, employment and training; and the delivery of youth events.
  • Demonstrated experience in stakeholder management, building partnerships and networking.
