The opportunity is available full-time or part-time for a fixed period of 12 months to cover a parental leave position from July 2022.

This position: manages the work of the Industrial Team providing advice and support to union members; provides quality advocacy and advice to assist the work of the union; and works closely with the rest of the union team to meet the HSUWA's strategic goals.

We are seeking an experienced industrial officer or lawyer with:

• Effective communication, negotiation and influencing skills
• Strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills
• Strong interest and knowledge of contemporary employment and industrial issues
• Advocacy experience
• Commitment to union values
