Job Description

As a Human Resource Administrator, you will be proactive, agile and be able to demonstrate high levels of initiative and planning skills as you manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

The responsibilities of the role are as below but not limited to:

Recruitment, Selection and Onboarding Support

  • Assist with the coordination of recruitment and selection activities
  • Communicate with stakeholders in relation to recruitment and selection procedures, timeframes, and application progress
  • Draft and post ads, review position descriptions and arrange interviews in consultation with the Human Resources Manager and Divisional Managers
  • Coordinate all pre-employment and credential checks
  • Manage staff card access and security systems for on-site and building swipe cards
  • Organise induction schedule for new starters

Human Resource Support and Administration

  • Responsible for the administration, scanning, uploading, naming and filing of documents on employee personnel files
  • Ensure timely data input, monitoring and maintenance of staff member records
  • Monitor the HR inbox, responding to general queries
  • Assist in the coordination of six-monthly staff appraisals and data analysis following their completion
  • Responsible for the ordering and allocation of staff uniforms
  • Assist the Human Resources Manager in the delivery of staff initiatives for example yearly flu shots, health & wellness, EAP etc

Essential Experience and/or Qualifications

  • Experience in end to end recruitment, selection and employment activities
  • Knowledge and understanding of HR practices and relevant HR and WHS legislation
  • Excellent customer service and engagement skills, including the ability to explain matters clearly, and to establish rapport with others
  • Strong administration and organisational skills
  • Advanced knowledge and demonstrated practical skills with Microsoft Office programs
  • Proven problem-solving skills and ability to think outside the square
  • Excellent attention to detail and a demonstrated commitment to achieving quality outcomes

Salary

This position is Full time Permanent offering a base salary of $76,875 + Superannuation and other great benefits.

Relevant screening checks will be conducted as part of the recruitment process. These may include National Criminal Records and National Police Background Checks.
