About the Role

Reporting directly to the Executive Officer: Practice, this pivotal role will be responsible for the delivery of the strategic and operational objectives, leadership and service delivery of a range of programs across our locations, and will be based in Goulburn.

As Regional Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Coordinating a portfolio of community service programs including Permanency Support, Disability Services, Family Connections and Support Services.
  • Monitoring and exceeding standards of practice for each program area.
  • Identifying new service initiatives and scoping out growth opportunities, entailing program evaluation, business development and tender submissions.
  • Working with the leadership team to achieve our strategic direction.

The successful applicant will have:

  1. A demonstrated commitment to the safety of children, young people and people with a disability.
  2. A degree in human services or relevant management qualification.
  3. A broad knowledge of services for people with disabilities, vulnerable children, abuse trauma and neglect.
  4. Knowledge of Child Protection legislation, standards and mandatory reporting obligations.
  5. Knowledge of Disability Services and the NDIS
  6. The ability to think strategically and develop effective and practical solutions to complex problems.
  7. A proven ability to identify, collaborate, develop and implement creative and innovative service improvement strategies.
  8. High level communication skills both written and verbal.
  9. Excellent networking and key stakeholder engagement skills.
  10. A proven capacity to work in a high level leadership team.
  11. Willing to undergo a National Police Check and (NSW) Working with Children Check clearance and or (ACT) Working with Vulnerable People Card.

Desirable

  1. Minimum 5 years’ experience at a senior management level in the community services sector. (Experience in Disability Services, Permanency Support, Early Intervention, Homelessness or Social Enterprise would be an advantage)
  2. Experience in change management and project delivery.
  3. Previous experience in a relevant field with children and/or families.
