Hope Street Youth and Family Services Limited ("Hope Street") is a leading specialist youth homelessness services in Victoria with over 40 years’ experience in delivering services to young people and young families in the western and northern growth corridors of Melbourne. The Youth Reconciliation program offers one-to-one counselling and support so that young people can establish and maintain constructive relationships with family and broader support networks.
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Youth Counsellor/Psychologist with sound experience in providing counselling and reconciliation services to young people and their families. In this role you will utilise a solution-focused, strengths-based approach to provide short-term counselling and support services (maximum three months) to Hope Street’s clients. In addition, you will have the opportunity to facilitate a range of workshops and presentations with young people as well as conduct presentations for staff for capacity building. This is an excellent opportunity to be instrumental in establishing effective teams in a dynamic environment. Please refer to the attached Position Description for more information about the role.
