Hope Street is a leading specialist youth homelessness services in Victoria with over 40 years’ experience in delivering services to young people and young families in the north and west. 

About the role

We are looking for a positive, hands on Executive Assistant with a good eye for detail and a high level of professionalism to support a busy CEO. 

In this role, your day-to-day activities include:

  • Providing secretarial support to the CEO to coordinate a range of administrative tasks including diary management, scheduling appointments, taking meeting minutes and preparing materials and communications on behalf of the CEO;
  • Providing administrative services to support the successful execution of key organisational activities and events as well as effective program operations;
  • Coordinating and organising Hope Street events such as the Annual General Meeting (AGM), program launches and end of year celebrations;
  • Managing the centralised processes of office equipment and supplies for the corporate office and program sites;
  • Managing and directing incoming communicators appropriately

About you

  • You have 3 or more years experience as an Executive Assistant, Secretary, or Personal Assistant;
  • You have a formal qualification in Business Administration or other related qualification;
  • You are proficient in Microsoft Office applications specifically Outlook, Word and Excel;
  • You are experienced at maintaining confidentiality and demonstrate a high level of professionalism;
  • You pride yourself on excellent organisational and time management skills;
  • You have great attention to detail and excellent written and verbal communication skills and;
  • You are self-motivated and can work autonomously and manage changing priorities.
