Hope Street Youth and Family Services Limited ("Hope Street") is a leading specialist youth homelessness services in Victoria with over 35 years’ experience in delivering services to young people in the western and northern communities.

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

Reporting to and working closely with the CEO, you will have a strategic focus to build and maintain existing partnerships. You will also identify and develop new partnerships and business opportunities that further the goals of Hope Street through local communities, governments, trusts and foundations, research opportunities and joint initiatives.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

  • Establish, nurture and coordinate business partnerships with philanthropic trusts and foundations
  • Seek new partnerships with external agencies/organisations and collaborate with key stakeholders within local communities
  • Secure funds and project manage new initiatives
  • Strategically promote and position Hope Street within the wider community enhancing and harnessing opportunities for growth

Classification: SCHCADS Award 2010, SACS Level 7 Pay Point 1 to 3 ($47.88 to $49.87).

ABOUT YOU

You have a University Degree level qualification in the Community Services area and/or fundraising, philanthropy or equivalent. You have extensive experience in community service program business development, and an understanding of current issues, research questions and future directions. You have highly developed conceptual, strategic, analytical and problem solving skills and have highly developed leadership, management and communication skills. You pride yourself on your excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build effective relationships and engage stakeholders at all levels including donors, community members, senior government officials, in a professional and social environment. You are a strong advocate and speaker in a public setting small or large and have excellent submission writing ability. You will also have advanced knowledge and skills in Microsoft office applications and reporting.
