Now an opportunity has become available to work with a newly appointed CEO, helping to ensure operational activities are delivered well, relevant stakeholders are kept informed, and the programme delivery team is supported.

In this role, you can expect to:

  • Provide Executive Assistant support to the CEO
  • Coordinate and support the Homeward Bound Operations Team, including weekly WIP meetings, key milestones and deliverables.
  • Ensure a collaborative working relationship with members of crucial Homeward Bound teams and stakeholders.
  • Manage key strategic projects and working groups as required.
  • Support the program delivery team to do their job well, ensure appropriate delegation of tasks, and resolve any operational obstacles.
  • Management of project management platforms, methods and processes, and internal capabilities to ensure high quality program delivery.
  • Ensure all corporate reporting requirements (including, but not limited to, ACNC, ATO, Workcover, superannuation) are met fully and on time.
  • In conjunction with the CEO, manage annual organisational budgets and project budgets, including tracking expenditure against budget.
  • Manage an external bookkeeper

To be suitable for this role, you would need some, but not all, of the following:

  • Solid business skills, including financial reporting and governance
  • Experience in managing projects and teams come up with a demonstrated ability to plan and prioritise
  • Demonstrated ability to collate and synthesise data for reporting
  • Understanding of and commitment to improving the challenges facing women in leadership
  • Experience working in a not for profit or social enterprise environment is a plus

Package

  • 4-month contract with the high possibility of extension
  • Salary: $80,000 pa pr, fulltime (negotiable) + superannuation (10%)
  • Potential for the role to be four days per week, rather than full time if desired
  • Flexible working hours are offered.
