Homes North, a highly reputed not-for-profit organisation with offices in the New England North West NSW, who make it their business to create secure, affordable and sensitively managed housing opportunities for low income households, are looking to hire their next Accounts Payable Officer based in Armidale.

The Accounts Payable Officer will be responsible for providing high quality Accounts payable service with a focus on exceptional internal and external customer service to support internal staff members and suppliers. This role will be responsible for ensuring expenditure and payments are made in accordance with policy and procedure and that payment arrears are kept to a minimum. The Accounts Payable officer will also be a key support to the finance team and broader organisation with a secondary support in payroll.

Applicants must have:

ESSENTIAL:

  1. Previous experience in an accounts role with significant exposure to accounts payables management and control is essential
  2. Previous experience in a payroll processing role is desirable but not essential
  3. Qualifications at any level in accounting or bookkeeping are desirable but not essential
  4. Demonstrated experience in managing and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  5. Current Driver’s License desirable not essential
  6. Current Criminal History Check
  7. Willingness to obtain Working With Children Check
