Ngadju Conservation Aboriginal Corporation is seeking a dynamic individual to join our team to coordinate a Ngadju Women Rangers Project.
Ngadju Conservation Aboriginal Corporation is a conservation and land management organisation that aims to protect and conserve Ngadju land and culture; and provide economic opportunities and training for Ngadju youth. Ngadju lands include a large portion of the ecologically rich Great Western Woodlands.
This is an exciting opportunity to both develop and implement a Ngadju women’s program. The successful candidate will coordinate a team of young Ngadju women and work closely with Elders in the community. The project scope includes protection and maintenance of cultural sites; enhancement of cultural values; native plant and animal management; seed collection; weed, feral and fire management; and community engagement.
Desirable
This is a full-time position until June 30, 2022 and may be renewed dependent on funding. The position is based at the Ngadju Ranger base in Norseman.
