Kanyirninpa Jukurrpa (KJ) is looking for a skilled manager who enjoys working with people. KJ is a successful and well-regarded organisation working with remote communities in the Western Desert, WA.

The organisation delivers a suite of innovative environmental, cultural and social programs which assist Martu to engage with their country, share and learn cultural knowledge, and learn about the mainstream world. KJ is the largest employer of Martu, being active throughout all Martu communities, employing over 380 people.

The Manager of Remote Programs will manage our successful Indigenous ranger program in the desert communities, as well as facilitate the introduction of new community development initiatives. You will need to be a self-starter, creative, enjoy managing and empowering staff, be an excellent communicator and have strong management skills.

This position will allow you to engage with some of the most traditional Aboriginal people in Australia and to be part of a vibrant, ambitious platform of initiatives.
