Supporting Conservation Management to pursue its beliefs and values by working with partners, people and communities to identify and deliver projects. Being a Conservation Management team member means looking for new opportunities, working on existing projects, and helping build Conservation Management and spread its’ ethos.

The Regional Coordinator role will provide great opportunities to work with our network of Indigenous communities and other partners in northern Australia and support the many healthy country projects underway. Introducing new initiatives, building on existing partnerships, and helping to grow the capability and capacity of our teams and partners, will be the primary responsibility for the successful candidate.
We operate on the basis of good working relationships with the broader community and this role provides an opportunity to work within a supportive team environment to help influence people and deliver outcomes on-country. This role provides leadership opportunities for the right person, as they will explore ‘healthy country’ opportunities across all sectors of the community.
This is a ‘hands on’ role where you will be supporting teams and projects to work effectively by enabling communication and connection.
You will have local networks and connections with Indigenous people in the top end and a passion to work with Traditional Owners on developing Healthy Country plans and supporting their implementation. We strive to provide a culturally safe working environment for our people.

This role is 0.8 FTE with flexible arrangements available. Ideally located in Darwin with some flexibility for other NT locations. Field work will be required from time to time.
