Engineering Lead

Kinela is on a mission to radically change healthcare for people with disabilities and older Australians—giving them the tools to live happier, healthier and more independent lives.

We do this by providing personalised health and wellbeing programs, innovative allied health services (including dietetics, speech pathology and occupational therapy) and nutritious home-delivered meals. And we’re only just getting started. Headquartered in Sydney, we empower thousands of clients across Australia to achieve their health and wellbeing goals.

We are at the beginning of our product journey and looking for our first engineering hire. This is a rare gem of an opportunity for you to join an exciting scale up business and build new products from the ground up. There are no haunted code bases to inherit. This is your tech stack and your team to build from scratch with a genuine opportunity to grow into a head of engineering and/or CTO role as the company scales.

Working side by side with the head of product, you will be deeply involved in shaping the product vision and bringing this to life. You will lead on engineering best practices, processes, solution architecture, engineering hires, development languages and frameworks. You will build digital experiences which shape how our customers and staff interact with our products and services on a daily basis.
