Able Foods was co-founded by 2022 Australian of the Year Dylan Alcott to shake up the ready-made meal space for NDIS participants. Able Foods is Australia’s largest provider of meals for NDIS participants!

We are a specialist NDIS provider who delivers dietitian-designed and chef-prepared meals to thousands of Australians with disability. Able Foods is a certified B-Corp organisation which means we place our purpose above profits and use our business as a force for good.

The Role

As a Client Engagement Specialist, you will be a part of a collaborative and vibrant team that leads health conversations with participants of the NDIS, their families and support circles. You will guide them through the onboarding process before they transition to our client services team.

You will assist our clients in taking control of their health through specialised, nutritious meals.

Responsibilities

Deliver an amazing customer experience:

  • Nurture relationships and build rapport with key external stakeholders to generate referrals for NDIS participants
  • Support NDIS participants, their families and key stakeholders throughout the onboarding process. This involves various communication touch points - inbound & outbound phone calls, emails and live chat.
  • Listen to their requirements and understand the impact of their disability on their health & nutrition
  • Collect key individual information to guide the design of services
  • Coordinate with various stakeholders and the NDIS to support participants in using their NDIS funding for healthy home-delivered meals

About You

Essential skills & attributes:

  • 2 years experience in a sales or customer service position
  • Exceptional people skills and empathy, with an ability to build strong relationships with people from a variety of backgrounds
  • Ability and drive to hit and exceed targets
  • Great communication skills (written and verbal) and a high level of attention to detail
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a small team
  • A positive approach to the challenges of a high-growth business

Desirable skills & attributes:

  • Knowledge of the NDIS or Aged-Care Sector
  • Background in nutrition

Desirable Qualifications and Certifications:

  • Working with Children Check (WWCC) or willingness to obtain
