Relationship Management is one of Hireup’s critical Success Services, providing a central point of connection within Hireup for our clients who need help to start and thrive on the platform. Relationship Managers support the clients in their portfolio to get started, navigate our online system and tools, and deal with other challenges that come up from time to time.

Relationship Managers build a personal connection with their client base, and provide a range of support and guidance to assist users to thrive on the platform. As a Relationship Manager, you will also act as an intermediary, connecting clients with other Hireup services and helping clients to navigate all aspects of the journey. Relationship Managers are there for the client on their terms, providing a personal connection and a guiding hand to our clients who need it.

A critical part of Hireup’s overall ‘Success Services’ and reporting to the Relationship Management Team Lead in your city, you will work in a performance driven culture to deliver outstanding quality of service for clients who have ongoing but sporadic support needs.

We are open to exploring flexible working practices for this role, such as a part-time arrangement.

The role - Relationship Manager

  • Support your portfolio of clients on a daily basis as their ongoing and dedicated relationship manager
  • Build out your portfolio of Hireup clients and their families over time, including undertaking welcome conversations and building trust and rapport
  • Support your client group across the full range of their needs - including helping your clients to get started, navigate the platform on an ongoing basis, connecting clients to other Hireup services like Team Builder, and acting as a point of contact and escalation point for your client’s questions or troubleshooting needs
  • Critically, build a dynamic of trust with the clients you support, and help people find ways to the solution that is right for them. You will start by building high level but trusted relationships with the people and families you oversee, and will be the primary point of contact for helping people get started, and with ongoing support and troubleshooting
  • Work in a highly autonomous way within a local team of other Relationship Managers. You will cover specific geographic areas, meaning you will be familiar with the people, the area and other services that might be required
  • Work closely with the broader success teams at Hireup, including the Engagement Coordinators, Team Builders, and Case Managers, who play an important role in the overall ecosystem of success for Hireup clients and workers
  • Ensure that your portfolio of clients are able to start up, stay, and find deep satisfaction with the Hireup platform and service
  • Ensure the clients in your portfolio activate on the platform, use the platform over time to a high degree of satisfaction, and remain active on the platform after 18 months

Your background

  • Experience - you have worked in either a client management, account management, support work or a customer service role in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment
  • Strong disability sector knowledge a big plus - we’re looking for someone who understands the Australian disability sector and can relate to the needs of our community to deliver high-quality supports
  • Team work - a team player​ who can work in collaboration with a range of stakeholders to deliver excellent results
  • Customer first - you love building deep customer relationships, and supporting people to find long term success on our platform
  • Interpersonal skills - you will need strong interpersonal skills, including highly develop communication skills with the ability to build trust and rapport quickly
  • Strong values alignment​ - an empathetic individual, positive and proactive, with strong problem solving skills, and an excellent communicator with highly developed communication skills
  • Advanced technical and system skills - experience across using CRMs and multiple systems at once
