The strategic, creative, self-starters in our People & Culture team are tasked with attracting, engaging and nurturing the socially-driven high performers at Hireup HQ. Insights-led and data-driven, they collaborate with team leads across the organisation to ensure they have the best talent, processes and resources to keep pace with Hireup’s rapidly growing community of users. They are people-obsessed and passionate about stewarding a positive, innovative and collaborative culture, always keeping one step, roll or zoom ahead of Hireup’s hyper-growth.

By joining our productive, action-orientated people team you will have an opportunity to be part of an exciting period within our People and Experience journey. This role is varied with a mix of day to day people operations plus the opportunity to get creative with the development of processes, maturing our use of systems and our data and analytics dashboards.

Priorities - the work

  • Work on all things operational across the entire employee lifecycle for our People & Culture team.
  • Ensure our processes and systems are innovative and fit for purpose as we scale our Hireup Support Office team.
  • You will coordinate our onboarding process including Launchpad, our induction program, and our employee off-boarding.
  • You’ll be the go-to person for all of our key people systems and know how to use these systems for maximum impact e.g. Employment Hero, Culture Amp, JobAdder, KeyPay.
  • You will be responsible for the execution of information and system updates as well as administration arising from talent/performance/compensation processes
  • As a key member of the People & Culture team, you will fulfil the role of team assistant which will give you exposure to all types of work within the people and culture roadmap and the opportunity to lean into project work.
  • You will help create and evolve our use of metrics and data including owing our P & C analytics dashboard
  • Play a key role in ensuring Hireup delivers on legislative Work Health and Safety requirements.

Skills - the person

  • We need an all-rounder and a doer. You thrive on providing support to a productive team and can work on a range of different projects and tasks at one time.
  • You will enjoy working with some level of ambiguity however you will be motivated to help us plan and execute with a sense of urgency.
