About Highway Foundation

We are a dynamic and innovative youth charity and we know we are boldly different. Instead of focusing on what's wrong or lacking, we inspire youth to move towards goals that energise and make them the best versions of themselves. We are all about young people aged 10 to 25 years of age feeling a sense of belonging and giving them the tools to become the best version of themselves through transformational group connections facilitated by amazing Highway Youth Facilitators. In these challenging and changing times, young people need to be led by hope and their inspired goals to help navigate their lives away from mental illness and loneliness.

The position location:

Port Melbourne (with some days working from home). Part-time: 2 days a week

As the Office administrator, your job will provide administrative support to the CEO and team, answer and respond to calls and emails, manage bookings and diaries, prepare presentations and meetings and deal with clients regularly. You will also help onboard our new youth volunteers and make them feel welcome!

Requirements

  • Proficient in Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
  • Friendly with a great personality that just shines through on the phone and through Zoom!
  • Have initiative with a strong ability to multitask.
  • Impeccable verbal and written communication skills, a strong ability to multitask.
  • Embody the maturity and patience to deal with different people and difficult people.
  • Must be able to work from home when required and have access to internet and mobile phone.
  • Able to navigate Facebook, Instagram and Twitter is an advantage.
