We are looking for dedicate Training and Placement Officers to join our Help Training Institute (HTI) in delivering face-to-face courses in the South East Queensland area. This role will see you responsible for providing quality training and assessment to learners for the purpose of gaining sustainable employment and or advancing career prospects. Help share your passion and experience with our students to develop a workforce that is in great need of quality trained staff.

This is a casual role. The successful applicant must be willing to travel as required.

We are looking for trainers with experience in the following fields:

  • Cert IV Employment Services 
  • Cert IV Disability 
  • Business & Business Administration
  • Retail 
  • Hospitality 
  • Cleaning Operations
  • All aspects of the Community Sector Training backgrounds (mental health, health services, disability, aged care, community services)

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Current TAE0116 Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (or equivalent) 
  • Current trade qualification 
  • The ability to deliver to small and large groups, and adjust your communication style to suit the learning style of your students 
  • Experience in developing training programs 
  • Knowledge of ASQA and Training Packages 
  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office software products
  • Relevant industry knowledge and experience (within the past 2-5 years) to help students understand how knowledge turns into practice 
  • Availability to work between the core hours of 8.30am and 4.30pm with flexibility to get the job done outside these hours when required
  • Current unrestricted Drivers Licence
